ABOUT ME

Mikayla De Pasquale (b. 1996) is an emerging practice-based research photographer located in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. De Pasquale has completed a degree in Bachelor Creative Arts (Photography), 2019 and Honours at Deakin University, 2021 and Master of Photography at RMIT University, 2023.
De Pasquale has participated in group exhibitions such as BCA Graduates; Manifestation + Eventual, Studio Fallout and Capture Photography Exhibition at Project Space in Geelong (2016 & 2018), Astro Light: Astronomy and Light Festival at Scienceworks in Melbourne (2018), Develop at Museum of Australian Photography (MAPh; formally known as Monash Gallery of Art) (2019), GradFoto 2021 and 2023 at Ballarat International Foto Biennale (2022 & 2024), and William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize at MAPh. Her research interests include using analogue apparatuses and photographic processes to experiment and record daily trajectories from solar and lunar phenomena.
